A Mascot Mix postcards set, made in Japan! This postcard set features Nejiri Honnyo, the sentient pile of twisted rice that is the official mascot of Kurihara City, in Miyagi Prefecture! Nejiri Honnyo may look a little creepy, but he's a good sport and an even better friend!
These postcards show Nejiri Honnyo holding a couple of onigiri (rice balls), standing in the autumn rice fields. Look how happy he is! Is this considered cannibalism?
